QR Studio makes QR codes in two ways. Quick QR builds a code in your browser for a URL, text, email, phone number, SMS, vCard contact or Wi-Fi login and downloads it as PNG or SVG, with no account; Tracked QR, after signing in, gives a code whose destination you can change later and shows how many times it was scanned.
A normal (static) QR code stores its content inside the pattern itself. That is ideal for a Wi-Fi password on a café table or a contact card on a visiting card, because it works forever without any server. The catch is that once printed it cannot change, so a typo in the link means reprinting.
A tracked QR stores a short link run by Shomoy instead. Scanning it passes through that link to your current destination, which you can edit, pause or switch back on at any time, and each scan is counted. Tracked QRs can point to a URL, show text, share a vCard, or open a PDF up to 5 MB hosted on Shomoy. The page states they are free for the first 3 months, with up to 25 per account.
Pick Quick QR or Tracked QR
Quick QR needs no login. Tracked QR asks you to sign in to your shomoy.io account.
Choose the content type
URL, Text, Email, Phone, SMS, vCard or Wi-Fi in Quick QR; URL, text, vCard or PDF in Tracked QR.
Fill in the details
For Wi-Fi, enter the network name, security type (WPA/WPA2, WEP or open) and password. For vCard, name, organisation, title, phone, email and website.
Style it
Choose foreground and background colours, error correction (L, M, Q or H) and a size from 256 to 1,024 pixels.
Download and test
Download PNG or SVG, then scan it with your own phone before printing.
Example: a Wi-Fi QR for a shop
Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name, pick WPA / WPA2 and type the password. The code holds WIFI:T:WPA;S:<name>;P:<password>;; which phone cameras read as a join-network prompt. Download the SVG at error correction M and print it on an A5 card by the counter.

Yes. Quick QR is free with no sign-up, and the codes never expire because the content is inside the pattern. Tracked QR is described on the page as free for the first 3 months, for up to 25 codes.
Quick QR codes are generated in your browser and nothing is stored. Tracked QRs are saved in your shomoy.io account, because the short link has to know where to send people and count scans.
A static code contains the link or text directly and can never change. A tracked code contains a Shomoy short link, so you can change the destination, pause it, and see scan counts without reprinting.
Yes. Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password and pick WPA/WPA2, WEP or open. Most iPhone and Android cameras offer to join the network when they scan it.
SVG for printing, because it stays sharp at any size, from a sticker to a banner. PNG for WhatsApp, Facebook posts or documents that need an image.
M suits most uses. Choose Q or H if the code will be printed on rough surfaces or might get scratched; the pattern becomes denser, so print it a little larger.
Not in this tool. You can change the colours, but there is no logo overlay.
