Image Resizer changes the pixel size of one or many images in your browser, using exact width and height, a percentage from 1% to 400%, or one of 22 presets. You choose how the picture fits the new frame and whether to save as PNG, JPG or WEBP.
This resizer is organised around three simple modes. Dimensions lets you type a width and height, with an aspect-ratio lock. Percent scales everything by the same factor. Preset fills in a target such as an Instagram post (1080 × 1080), a YouTube thumbnail (1280 × 720) or A4 at 300 DPI (2480 × 3508).
When the new shape differs from the original, a fit mode decides what happens: Cover fills the frame and trims the overflow, Contain fits the whole picture inside and pads the rest with a colour (or transparency for PNG), and Stretch forces the exact size. PNG is the default output; JPG and WEBP use an adjustable quality that starts at 85%.

Example: a 4000 × 3000 photo to an Instagram post
With the Instagram Post (1:1) preset and Cover, the photo is scaled to 1440 × 1080 and the sides are trimmed to a centred 1080 × 1080 square. The file is saved as photo-1080x1080.png, or .jpg if you chose JPG.
