JPG to TIFF stores a JPG photo's pixels in an uncompressed TIFF file, created in your browser. The picture looks the same, but the TIFF is much larger, roughly four bytes per pixel.
Some recipients insist on TIFF: printing presses, newspaper and magazine production, stock libraries, document archives and older desktop publishing workflows. They value that TIFF stores pixels without further compression loss.
This tool decodes the JPG and writes its pixels as an uncompressed TIFF with red, green, blue and alpha channels, using the UTIF library. It cannot restore detail the JPG already discarded; it only guarantees no further loss from here on.
Upload the JPG
Choose the .jpg or .jpeg photo that needs to become a TIFF.
Convert
Press Run JPG to TIFF; the pixels are packed into a TIFF file.
Download
Save the .tiff file. It will be much larger than the JPG.
Example: a 3000 × 2000 photo
The JPG might be 1 to 2 MB. As an uncompressed TIFF it is about 3000 × 2000 × 4 bytes, roughly 24 MB.

No. The TIFF holds exactly the pixels the JPG contained. It prevents future loss but does not undo past compression.
It is stored without compression at about four bytes per pixel (red, green, blue, alpha). A 6-megapixel photo becomes roughly 24 MB.
No. The tool writes a plain uncompressed TIFF. Open it in an image editor to add compression, a DPI value or a CMYK profile if your printer asks for one.
No. Decoding and TIFF writing both happen in your browser, so the photo stays on your device.
This page accepts JPG. Use PNG to TIFF for PNG files, which also keeps transparency.
