Resize Image scales one or many pictures in your browser with six modes: exact width × height, percent, width only, height only, longest side or shortest side. It has 38 presets and downloads several results together as a single ZIP file.

Different jobs describe size differently. A website may say no wider than 1200 pixels, a marketplace may want the longest side at 1600, and an icon needs exactly 512 × 512. This tool has a mode for each, so you do not have to work out the other dimension yourself.

Output defaults to JPG at 85% quality, a sensible choice for photos; PNG and WEBP are one click away. The 38 presets cover social media (including a 640 × 640 WhatsApp DP), print, screen resolutions up to 8K, icons from a 16 × 16 favicon to 512 × 512, and email headers.

What does longest side mean?

You give one number, and whichever side of each photo is longer is set to it; the other side follows the photo's own proportions. It is the easiest way to treat portrait and landscape photos the same.

Can I download everything in one go?

Yes. With two or more finished images, Download all packs them into a single ZIP file named resized-images followed by a timestamp.

Why is JPG the default?

Most resizing is done on photos, and JPG at 85% keeps them looking good at a small size. Switch to PNG for screenshots, logos or anything needing transparency.

Will my photos be stretched?

Only if you choose Stretch with the aspect lock off. Width, Height, Longest, Shortest and Percent always keep proportions, and Cover or Contain avoid distortion for fixed sizes.

Are the pictures uploaded somewhere?

No. Each image is resized on a canvas in your own browser, and the ZIP is created there too.

Which should I use, this or Image Resizer?
