Add Text to PDF writes one line of text onto a page you choose, at a position given in PDF points measured from the bottom-left corner. You set the page, x, y and font size (default 14); the text is black and can be English or Bangla.

Sometimes a PDF form is not fillable, or a letter just needs a date, a memo number or a name typed into a blank line. Printing, writing by hand and scanning again takes far longer than typing it in.

Positions use PDF points: 72 points make one inch, x grows to the right and y grows upward from the bottom of the page. For scale, A4 measures 595 by 842 points, which puts the default spot (x 100, y 700) in the upper-left part of the sheet.

  1. Upload the PDF

    Choose the document you want to write on.

  2. Type the text and position

    Enter the text, the page number, x and y in points, and the font size.

  3. Run, check, adjust

    Press Run, download the file ending in -text.pdf and open it. If the text is off, change x or y by 10-20 points and run again on the original file.

Example: dating a letter in its upper-right corner

To write "Date: 30-10-2026" near the top right of page 1, use page 1, x 430, y 790 and size 12. The text starts 430 points from the left edge and sits 52 points below the top of the 842-point-tall page.

y নিচ থেকে গোনা হয়। লেখা নিচে নামাতে y কমান, ওপরে তুলতে বাড়ান; ডানে সরাতে x বাড়ান।

একাধিক লাইন কীভাবে লিখব?

প্রথম লাইন বসিয়ে ফাইলটা ডাউনলোড করুন, সেটাই আবার আপলোড করে পরের লাইন বসান।

Which x and y numbers should I use?

Remember that y counts up from the bottom. On A4 (595 × 842 points), the top of the page is around y 800 and the bottom around y 40. Make a first try, look at where the text landed, and shift it by a few points.

Can I add text in Bangla?

Yes. Bangla text makes the tool embed the Noto Sans Bengali font. Check the result for correct যুক্তবর্ণ before you send it.

Can I add several lines or several fields?

Each run places one line. Download the result, upload that file again, and add the next line; repeat for every field.

Can I change or delete existing text in the PDF?

No. This tool only adds new text on top. To hide something, you would need a full PDF editor.

Does the PDF leave my device?

No. The text is written into the file inside your browser.
