Annotate PDF stamps a short text note onto a chosen page of a PDF at the spot you set, and gives you a new PDF to download. The note becomes part of the page itself, not a removable comment, and the work happens in your browser.
Reviewers often want to leave a visible mark on a document: "Checked" on a bill, "Received 12/10" on a letter, "Revise this table" on a draft chapter. This page puts that kind of note straight onto the page so anyone who opens the PDF, on any viewer or printed on paper, sees it.
Because the note is drawn into the page rather than added as a comment bubble, it will not appear in a comments list and readers cannot hide it. That is useful when the mark must stay, and a reason to keep your original file if you might want a clean copy later.

Choose the PDF you are reviewing.
Write the note
Keep it short, one line: a status word, a date or a page reference.
Place it
Enter the page number and the x and y position in points (x from the left edge, y up from the bottom). Make the size larger for a stamp-like look.
Save the annotated copy
Run it and download; repeat on the new file to add notes to other pages.
No. The text is drawn onto the page content, so Reader treats it like printed text, not like a sticky note. That is why it also appears when the PDF is printed or opened on a phone.
Not with this tool. Keep the original PDF if you might need a clean version. A full desktop PDF editor can sometimes delete added text objects.
Size 28 to 40 reads clearly as a stamp on an A4 page; 12 to 14 matches normal body text. Try one size, check, and adjust.
No. The PDF is opened and modified in your browser with the pdf-lib library, and the annotated copy is made on your device.
Each run handles one page. Load the downloaded file again, set the next page number and run, and earlier notes are kept.
