Merge PDF joins two or more PDF files into a single document, in the order you arrange them, right inside your browser. Every page is copied as it is, so text stays selectable and nothing is re-compressed.

Application portals often allow just one attachment. If your SSC and HSC certificates, transcript and NID scan are four separate PDFs, merging them is the quickest way to submit one clean file.

The merge is done by pdf-lib, a PDF library that runs in the page itself. Pages are copied from each source file into a new PDF without being redrawn, which keeps the original quality and usually keeps the merged file close to the combined size of the inputs.

  1. Add your PDFs

    Tap the upload box and pick two or more PDF files. Use "+ Add more files" if they are in different folders.

  2. Set the order

    Use the up and down arrows next to each file. The file at the top becomes the first pages of the result; the X removes a file.

  3. Run and download

    Press Run Merge PDF, then Download. The result is saved as merged.pdf.

Example: four certificates into one file

SSC.pdf (1 page), HSC.pdf (1 page), Honours-transcript.pdf (2 pages) and NID.pdf (1 page) are arranged top to bottom and merged. The result, merged.pdf, has 5 pages in exactly that order, and its size is roughly the four files added together.

How do I change the order of the PDFs?

Use the small up and down arrows beside each file in the list. Whatever is at the top comes first in merged.pdf, so arrange them before pressing Run.

Are my documents uploaded anywhere?

No. The files are read and joined by code running in your browser, so certificates and ID scans never leave your phone or computer.

Will merging reduce the quality of scanned pages?

No. Pages are copied into the new file unchanged; nothing is re-scanned or re-compressed. If the merged file is too big for a portal, run it through the Compress PDF tool or re-scan at a lower resolution.

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Not in this tool: it always takes every page of every file. Remove unwanted pages first with the PDF Page Deleter, or cut out a range with Split PDF, then merge the results.

Is there a limit on the number of files?

The tool sets no fixed limit. The practical limit is your device's memory: dozens of ordinary PDFs are fine, but hundreds of large scans may slow down a phone.

Is Merge PDF free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark on the result and no daily cap.
