Convert PDF pages to .pptx.

⚡Runs on our server. Server-side: LibreOffice headless. One PDF page = one slide. The file is processed in an isolated temp directory and deleted immediately after.

About PDF to PowerPoint ·

PDF to PowerPoint opens your PDF in LibreOffice Impress on our server and saves it as a .pptx, one slide per PDF page. Text that is real text in the PDF becomes editable text boxes and images stay images; a scanned PDF gives slides that are pictures only.

Teachers and presenters often receive slides only as a PDF, the format people use to share decks safely. That is fine for viewing but frustrating when you need to fix a typo, update a figure or reuse a few slides in your own class or meeting.

The converter uses Impress's own PDF import (impress_pdf_import), so page 1 becomes slide 1, page 2 becomes slide 2, and so on. Each line of text arrives as its own text box that you can click and edit, and pictures keep their place. Fonts that are not on our server are swapped for similar ones, so a few lines may need nudging. Animations, transitions and speaker notes do not exist in a PDF, so they cannot come back.

How to use it · কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন

  1. Upload the PDF deck

Choose the PDF version of the presentation, up to 100 MB.

  2. Convert

Our server imports it into LibreOffice Impress and saves a .pptx; long decks may take a couple of minutes.

  3. Open and review

Open the file in PowerPoint or Google Slides; each page of the PDF is now one slide.

  4. Edit and present

Click into the text boxes, update your content and save it as a normal presentation.

Reusing lecture slides
A teacher who has only the PDF of last year's lecture can convert it and update dates, examples and figures.

Google Slides-

Questions people ask ·

Will each PDF page become a slide?

Yes. Impress imports the PDF page by page, so a 20-page PDF gives a 20-slide .pptx in the same order.

Can I edit the text in the slides?

Yes, if the PDF contains real text: it arrives as text boxes you can click and type in. If the deck was exported as images or scanned, each slide is a picture without editable text.

Will I get my animations back?

No. A PDF only records how each slide looks when printed, so animations, transitions and speaker notes were dropped when the PDF was made and cannot be rebuilt.

Why did a font change?

When the PDF uses a font that is not installed on our server, Impress picks a similar one. Select the text boxes and set the font you want in PowerPoint.

Does my file get uploaded?

Yes, the conversion runs on our server. The PDF is sent over HTTPS and handled in a temporary working folder that is deleted after the .pptx comes back to you.

Can I open the result in Google Slides?

Yes. Upload the .pptx to Google Drive and choose Open with Google Slides.
