Rotate PDF turns pages 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise, either the whole document or only the pages you list (for example 2, 5-7). It changes the page's rotation setting rather than redrawing it, so the content keeps its full quality.

Phone scanning apps and office scanners often save a landscape table or a certificate sideways, and a page fed in the wrong way round comes out upside down. Teachers and HR officers then have to tilt their heads, or they simply skip the page.

A PDF page carries a rotation value. This tool adds your chosen angle to that value and saves the file again, so a page already turned 90° and turned another 90° ends up at 180°. Nothing is re-scanned or re-compressed.

   Choose the PDF

   Upload the file; the number of pages it has appears under the file name.

   Pick the angle and pages

   Select 90°, 180° or 270° clockwise. Leave the Pages box empty to rotate everything, or type pages such as 1-3, 5.

   Rotate and download

   Press Run Rotate PDF and download the file, which ends in -rotated.pdf.
