Word to PDF converts .doc and .docx files into PDF using LibreOffice running on our server. The PDF keeps the page layout fixed, so your CV, letter or assignment looks the same on any device, though fonts that the server does not have are replaced with similar ones.

A Word file can look different on every computer: margins shift, a table jumps to the next page, a Bangla font goes missing. That is why job portals, universities and offices ask for a PDF. Once converted, the pages are locked in place.

Our server opens your document in LibreOffice, the free office suite, and exports it as PDF. Ordinary documents such as CVs, cover letters, applications and reports come through with headings, tables, images and page breaks intact. Very complex layouts or uncommon fonts are where small differences can appear.

Will my PDF look exactly like the Word file?

For most CVs, letters and reports, yes or very close. Differences come from fonts: if your document uses a font the server does not have, LibreOffice uses a look-alike, and that can move a line or a page break. Using common fonts or Unicode Bangla fonts avoids this.

My Bangla text came out as strange symbols. Why?

The document was probably typed with a Bijoy (ANSI) font like SutonnyMJ, which stores Bangla as English letters plus a special font. Without that exact font, the letters show as gibberish. Convert the text to Unicode (for example with a Bijoy to Unicode converter) and use a font such as Nikosh or Kalpurush.

What happens to my document after converting?

It is uploaded over HTTPS, LibreOffice creates the PDF in a temporary working folder on our server, and the folder, including your Word file, is removed once the PDF is returned to you.

Can I convert several Word files at once?

Not in one go. Convert them one by one, then use Merge PDF if you want them in a single file.

Does it work with .odt or .rtf files?

The upload box is set for .doc and .docx. Save other formats as .docx in your word processor first.

Is Word to PDF free?

Yes. There is no charge and no account; the only limits are 100 MB per file and 10 conversions every 5 minutes.
