About Password Generator · বিস্তারিত
Creates random passwords from 6 to 64 characters using the browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues). You choose lowercase, uppercase, digits and symbols, can hide look-alike characters, and a meter shows the estimated strength in bits.
A password's strength comes from length and from how many characters each position could be. The meter estimates this as length × log2(pool size). With all four character groups on, the pool is 88 characters (26 lowercase, 26 uppercase, 10 digits, 26 symbols), so the default 20-character password scores about 129 bits, which the page labels Excellent.
Generation happens on your own device. The page never sends the password anywhere, and it is not saved: only your settings (length and which groups are on) are remembered for next time. Copy it straight into your password manager or the sign-up form.
How to use it · কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন
- 1
Set the length
Drag the slider anywhere from 6 to 64 characters. The default is 20.
- 2
Choose character groups
Turn a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and the symbol set on or off. A new password appears with every change.
- 3
Hide look-alikes if needed
Turn on Avoid ambiguous chars to drop 0, O, o, 1, l, I and i, which are easy to misread when typing from paper.
- 4
Copy or regenerate
Press Copy, or the circular arrow for a fresh one. Presets set common combinations in one tap.
When it helps · কখন কাজে লাগে
- Email, bank and social accounts
- Give your Gmail, internet banking login or Facebook page admin account its own long random password, saved in a password manager.
- Wi-Fi passwords
- Make a router password for a home or office network; turn on Avoid ambiguous so guests can type it from a printed card.
- Developers and admins
- Use the API key 48 preset for database passwords, test secrets or service accounts.
Example: what the strength meter shows
20 characters from all four groups (pool 88) scores about 129 bits, labelled Excellent. The Memorable 16 preset uses letters and digits only (pool 62), giving about 95 bits, labelled Very strong. A 6-character lowercase password scores about 28 bits, labelled Weak.
