About Markdown Editor · বিস্তারিত
A two-pane Markdown editor: type on the left, see formatted output on the right as you type. The draft is saved automatically in your browser, word count and reading time are shown, and you can download the text as a .md file or the rendered page as a standalone .html file.
The preview supports the everyday parts of Markdown: headings from # to ######, **bold**, *italic*, `inline code`, fenced code blocks, links, bullet and numbered lists, blockquotes and horizontal rules. It is a light renderer, not a full CommonMark engine, so tables, images and nested lists are not drawn.
Anything you type is HTML-escaped before formatting, and links only work for http, https and mailto addresses, so pasted text cannot run scripts in the preview or in the exported HTML. Reading time is words ÷ 220, rounded, with a minimum of one minute.
How to use it · কীভাবে ব্যবহার করবেন
- 1
Start writing
Type in the Markdown box, or press Sample to see the supported syntax. Clear empties the box.
- 2
Watch the preview
The right pane updates as you type. Words, characters and read time sit under the editor.
- 3
Leave and come back
Your text is saved in this browser automatically; reopening the page brings it back.
- 4
Export
Download .md for the raw text, .html for a ready-to-open page, or press Copy MD.
When it helps · কখন কাজে লাগে
- README and documentation drafts
- Draft a GitHub README or a project note and check how headings and code blocks look before committing.
- Blog posts and newsletters
- Write in plain text with simple marks, then export HTML to paste into a site builder.
- Class notes
- University students can keep tidy notes with headings and lists, then download a .md copy for safekeeping.
Example: a short note
Typing "## Shopping" on one line and "- rice" and "- lentils" on the next two shows a level-2 heading followed by a two-item bullet list in the preview. The counter reads 6 words, because it splits on spaces and so counts the ## and - marks too, and a 1 min read, and .html downloads a page with that heading and list.
