About Pomodoro Timer · বিস্তারিত
A focus timer that runs 25-minute work sessions, 5-minute short breaks and a 15-minute long break after every 4 sessions, all adjustable. It beeps when a phase ends, moves straight into the next one, and counts today's focus minutes and your daily streak in the browser.
The Pomodoro method breaks work into short, timed blocks with a rest after each one. You commit to one task until the timer rings, take a few minutes off, then start again; after a few rounds you take a longer break. Knowing the break is coming makes it easier to ignore the phone for 25 minutes.
Every length can be changed: focus from 1 to 120 minutes, short break 1 to 60, long break 1 to 120, and the long break can come after every 2 to 20 focus sessions. Finished sessions go into a log, and the streak counts how many days in a row, ending today, you finished at least one focus session.

When it helps · কখন কাজে লাগে
- Exam preparation
- A student preparing for HSC, admission tests or BCS can study in 25-minute blocks and see at night how many focused minutes the day really had.
- Writing assignments
- Set 50-minute focus blocks with 10-minute breaks to push through a university assignment or thesis chapter.
- Work from home
- Use short blocks to start a task you have been putting off, with a long break after four rounds.
Example: a morning of four rounds
With the defaults, four focus sessions and their breaks take 4 × 25 + 3 × 5 + 15 = 130 minutes. At the end the Today panel shows 100 focus minutes and 4 sessions, and if you also finished a session yesterday, the streak reads 2 days.
