About Tip & Bill Splitter · বিস্তারিত
Type the bill, a tip percentage and the number of people, and you get the tip, the total and what each person pays. You can round each share up to the next whole 1 or 5, and the page shows how much extra that rounding adds.
In the United States, a restaurant tip is usually worked out on the pre-tax bill and commonly falls somewhere between 15% and 20%, so the quick buttons here are 10, 15, 18, 20 and 25 percent. Any other figure can be typed in, including 0 where service is already included.
Splitting is the awkward part when the share comes out as 33.50. Choose a rounding option and each person's share is pushed up to a tidy number; the difference is shown as an extra amount that can go to the server or stay as change.

Example: $87.40 bill, 15% tip, 3 people
The tip is $13.11, so the total is $100.51 and each share is $33.50. With Round each up to 5 turned on, everyone pays $35.00; together that is $105.00, which leaves $4.49 extra for the server.
